Imagine Ethiopia 2010 is the chance of a lifetime! A CreatributionTM that develops myself, Ethiopia and the community I’m working in is an incredible opportunity to learn how I can make a difference. As co-founder of SHIFTED, Aaron Vidas and I worked to turn our vision into a reality. We dreamed big and worked with our project managers Nathan Tippe and Vivian Lou to create a project that elevated our communities through showing the untold stories of challenge that all successful people face. SHIFTED was a labour of love, blood, sweat and tears. We look forward to uncovering more SHIFTED moments in the future.
I am a lifelong learner, a passionate people developer, an interested listener and a devoted creator of positive experience.
I am creating the possibility of courageous, generous leadership.
Seeing the schools made me realize how much we take our education for
granted. Ethiopia understands that in order to develop their country,
they must develop the minds of their youth. Seeing this with my own
eyes made me realize how important and valuable imagine1day’s work is.
One of the things that was very clear in Ethiopia is that people really
value education. These communities understand what education affords
them, that through a good education they will be able to impact the
future of their country. The children we met are excited to go to
school, to sit at a desk, to own a pen or a notebook.
