A benefit concert with K'Naan and other artists (in talks now) in downtown Toronto.

What do you love, love, love doing? 

Travel the world and learn new things.

What do you expect to learn, discover, or achieve through your Creatribution™? 

I want to create a night for great music and a space for love, community, compassion and contribution that will elevate the Toronto community as well as the Ethiopian community and connect the two forever through a common goal: accessible education for all. I also want to increase awareness of imagine1day and freeFLOW Toronto within the Toronto area.

What about imagine1day is most important to you? 

The fact that it takes a stand for all Ethiopians and truly makes a difference in their lives and in their communities. imagine1day elevates the world to greatness, one community at a time.

What is something you have learned that you NEVER knew before imagine1day? 

Through imagine1day, I learned the side of Ethiopia that no one knows about. The Ethiopia with beautiful people who are deeply connected to one another by love for one another, and the Ethiopia with beautiful landscapes and tourist gems. I never knew what a phenomenal country Ethiopia is, inside and out, before imagine1day came into my life.

Why did you choose imagine1day? 

Its an organization based on integrity, authenticity and love, and imagine1day's commitment to education touches, moves, and inspires me every single day. By narrowing their focus and concentrating all of their resources on education in Northern Ethiopia, imagine1day can make a tremendous difference in the life of countless individuals. That, for me, sets it apart from any other organization out there.
