My CreatributionTM is called the Sessela Project. I'm working with another fellow Creatributor, Leigh Boyle, to work with the incredible women who send their children to imagine1day's schools in Northern Ethiopia to create an income generation activity. How? By partnering with the women to create handmade scarves to sell to generate income to support the school that their children go to.
Quoting lines from Jurassic Park.
I hope to create a way for the women of our communities in Ethiopia to be empowered to support their children's education. Also, I hope to bring a little peice of Ethiopian culture and art to the North American audience.
I love the fact that imagine1day is all about utilize your passion and creativity to impact the world around you.
I'm continually amazed by the rad people that get involved with the imagine1day community. Ideas don't change the world, it's the people behind those ideas that bring them to life.
I chose imagine1day because I've been a part of their community for a long time and I've always wanted to do something personal and creative to make an impact.
