Julie Ball
I hosted an exclusive clothing swap in New York City called SWAP!nyc.
I love developing and teaching people and helping them realize their full potential. I also love working in clothing stores, helping people find an outfit they love so they feel confident about themselves and in turn make other people feel the same.
I am learning what it feels like to be fully self expressed, to enroll people in something I'm passionate about, and project management. The idea of Creatribution™ makes me feel nervous...in other words...ALIVE.
What's most important to me about imagine1day besides the obvious mission to bring primary school education to kids who need it, is that imagine1day is changing the way a traditional charitable organization is run by enrolling others to give in a way that allows them to exercise an unique talent or interest. It's not just signing a cheque and getting a tax benefit - it's a group of people supporting you to create something beyond your comfort zone - this in turn inspires people to do the same.
I never knew how easy it was to make a difference and be a leader in my personal life.
I'm passionate about the overall mission and vision and also admire many of the people who are leaders and members of imagine1day. I am truly inspired by my fellow Creatributors who stand for possibility and who supported my idea from start to finish.
