JetSet Crew's mission is to connect our members with other like minded individuals in Vancouver and around the world. Collectively, we can make a difference in the world we live in beyond our borders. We have been inspired by Chip and Shannon Wilson and their dream of making the world a better place. Help us reach our goal to raise $10,000 by December 31, 2009 to help bring quality education to incredible children in Ethiopia.
Alexander Holburn Beaudin & Lang LLP and a group of extraordinary women have come together as a community and are reaching out further than ever before. On September 25th we set a goal to build a latrine in Ethiopia which will help pave the road to education for over 200 girls each year. Why a Latrine? Why Girls? The assurance of privacy, safety and hygiene that a latrine provides encourages parents to send their girls to school. The education of girls contributes to higher economic productivity, lower infant mortality and fertility rates, and the attainment of longer life expectancy for women. When you educate a girl you educate her whole family. Piece by piece, from the foundation cement to the stall doors, we are committed to achieving our fundraising goal of $10,000 by March 25, 2009. Connect, Contribute, Imagine.

In celebration of our good fortune over the past 30 years, Intertrade Gourmet is expressing its gratitude by investing in the Laelay Weste Primary School in North Eastern Ethiopia. We have decided to direct our donations to this one project instead of spreading them to many as we feel this is where we can have the greatest impact. We have created an online shopping page through imagine1day's website which consists of training and supplies that the school will need once it is built. We hope you will join us in helping to build a new future for these children and the generations to follow.
