Because Ethiopia is one of the world's 10 poorest nations. Yet, despite this it remains full of promise and its government is cooperative and committed to education for all.

By 2020 all children in Ethiopia complete quality primary education.
It is estimated that over 200,000 classrooms need to be built to provide access for the over three million children in Ethiopia that are currently out of school and to put a roof over the heads of children currently studying under trees.
