Imagine Ethiopia 2013
Imagine your journey of a lifetime. In October 2013 join our team of adventurers as you and a group of extraordinary people travel to the heart of Ethiopia to experience the country's promise and potential. It's not just a journey in Ethiopia, it is also a journey to Ethiopia. Faced with a big goal, you will discover how your passions and talents combine as catalysts for a new form of contribution that elevates you, your community and this world.
As an Imagine Ethiopia 2013 participant, your cost will be CDN $3,500 if you have registered and paid your 25% deposit by April 30 (this is the early bird fee). If you register on May 1 or later, your cost will be CDN $3,900. Your cost includes all Ethiopia domestic air travel and ground transportation, shared accommodation, three meals per day, adventure guiding, and entrance fees to cultural and sacred sites planned in the itinerary between October 12 and October 26, 2013. A 25% non-refundable deposit will hold your space on the trip.
Participants will be responsible for air travel to and from Ethiopia, trip and medical insurance, visas, inoculations, medications, beverages and alcohol, personal spending, unforeseen expenses and any expenses not specifically listed as being included. Our travel together will begin and end in Ethiopia's capital city, Addis Ababa. No portion of this cost is eligible for tax exemption.
Together, the Imagine Ethiopia 2013 participants will collectively raise CDN$100,000 to fund the cost of a primary school project for a remote rural community in Ethiopia's Oromiya Region. Fuelled by your personal passion, talents, and a nation's vision to educate their children, you will be required to make a personal commitment to raise CDN$7,145 by September 15, 2013.
