imagine1day is a growing, global community of people making passionate contributions to ensure every child in Ethiopia receives a quality education.

This Holiday Season, Stenner Investment Partners of Richardson GMP Limited have made a contribution to imagine1day, a Vancouver-based charity with a goal to bring quality primary education to all children in Ethiopia by 2020. We have purchased various items needed to construct an eight stall latrine for a primary school in Tigray, a region in Northern Ethiopia. Our goal is to raise $11,663.72 to fund the cost of the latrine by December 31, 2010.

If you would like to contribute to Stenner Investment Partners' goal, you can click here to purchase items still needed for the latrine from our project shopping page. 100% of your contribution will fund the direct project costs. All donations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt in Canada.

A private, safe, hygienic latrine encourages parents to send their young girls to school. The education of girls contributes to higher economic productivity, lower fertility rates, and improvements in the health and well-being of families. Educating girls is crucial to ending Africa's cycle of poverty, disease and instability and we are proud to join imagine1day in support of their mission.
