You're Amazing!

imagine1day is a charity that values skilled professionals who are willing to give their time to support our cause both in North America and Ethiopia. Opportunities are generally limited to skilled professionals who donate their expertise in North America on a part-time temporary basis or on a longer term basis overseas.

In North America, volunteers support our nonprofit organization by helping raise awareness about imagine1day through events and public speaking or helping out with general duties in our office. Most volunteer opportunities in North America are based in Vancouver, Canada.

Overseas, volunteers support our nonprofit programmatic work by providing technical expertise for our projects such as teacher training, English teaching, construction expertise or community facilitation in the areas of planning, health education, water management or environmental sustainability. Most overseas opportunities are based in Ethiopia, Africa.

Volunteers expand their skills and knowledge and make a significant impact in the lives of others.

Volunteers are asked to cover their own costs wherever possible. For overseas placements this includes international airfare, insurance, vaccinations and visas. In certain circumstances, imagine1day will provide accommodation and transport within country.

• Most placements require a university or college degree or diploma
• Minimum of two years of related professional work experience required
